Careerbuilder US is Hiring a Construction estimator Near Suwanee, GA
Estimator must produce detailed budgets and proposals in a timely fashion to the CEO for review. Must continue to follow-up and close the sale after the bid is sent to client.
Must be able to communicate with clients on a level they can understand as well as communicate with the project managers after the contract is assigned to them, so they understand the scope of work written.
Must write up any change order budgets and proposals as they arise on specific projects. Must assist in monthly invoicing with Office staff as needed.
8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Monday thru Friday (some days will require more than 8 hours and some weeks may require additional workdays.
This will vary depending on the amount of bid requests coming into the office.
Offering a competitive salary and the following bonus structure. 1 % of the gross sale of all jobs estimated, bid, and sale closed.
2% of the gross sale for any new business brought to the company. Health Insurance is offered to the employee and their immediate family for a bi-weekly payroll deduction.
Company vehicle is provided as well as a corporate AMEX for travel expenses.
Position requires effective oral and written communication skills combined with excellent listening skills. Must be able to meet multiple, sometime conflicting deadlines.
Candidate should be self-motivated, able to set and achieve goals independently with minimum supervision. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
